The Badge.
CLMTE aims to become the industry standard when it comes to carbon offsetting. Any business that uses CLMTE may display our badge, certifying to their customers that their carbon offsetting maintains high quality, in a world with a lot of overly expensive and unreliable alternatives.
Businesses may also choose a dynamic badge setting that shows how much carbon dioxide their customers have offsetted when combining their efforts, illustrating the power of cooperation and the immense positive impact the company has had on the environment.

Carbon Footprint Calculations.
At CLMTE, we use available data from the finance as well as environmental research sectors to estimate your company’s carbon footprint. Additionally, large margins are used with the goal of maximising customers’ positive effect on the climate at a low cost. Finally, a low administrative cost is added to the price in order to cover CLMTE’s associated expenses.
In other words, our database consists of the average emissions for most categories of everyday products, such as sofas, shirts, pasta, etc.
If a business wishes to calculate the cost of offsetting on a category basis, we crossmatch the types of products being bought with our database and output the cost to offset the purchase. An administrative overhead cost is then added, covering associated costs for CLMTE and the E-commerce business, resulting in the final price for the customer to compensate their products’ carbon footprint.
